Apologies for my absence. I finally handed my dissertation in last week and today has been the first time in a month that I've been able to sit down and draw. I'm going to keep writing to a minimum as I literally cannot type any more...

I wore this to lunch a few weeks back. My H&M high-waisted jeans, a New Look striped bodysuit, Docs and a second-hand Chrysalis tweed shooting jacket that The Boy found. I really need to get a replacement for these jeans, but H&M have drastically changed their sizes and I can't even get my calves into most of their trousers now... Not. Pleased. After five years of relying on them, I feel a little bit miffed...

I bought this skirt a few weeks back from Sue Ryder in St Andrews. It's a mid-calf, high-waisted, deep turquoise, velvet circle skirt. I'm currently wearing it with body suits and brogues. It's perfect.

I saw this girl round town a few weeks back; pastel two-toned brogues, pastel green trousers and a camel cape. I love the use of a transitional piece such as the cape during the blustery few weeks we've had here.
Last Thursday I hosted a cabaret night for the St Andrews arts festival On The Rocks. Following a fortnight of caffeine fuelled dissertation writing it was a fabulous night. We had drag queens, singers, swing dance, the can-can and comedy to name a few acts. I wore a pair of silver hold-ups I picked up in France years ago, an Ebayed jumpsuit, a dressing-up box kimono and Docs. Sure it involved a lot of leg exposition, but hey, plus-sized and fabulous.

My workload is lessening off now with just one essay to go before my university career is over...

I hope you have a fabulous week and I'm looking forwards to catching up with all the blogs I've missed!
